Hi there 😊 This post is about a product called Benenox Overnight Recharge. Now I’m not particularly one for healthfoody-type supplements and would usually decline collaborations on products like that. However, when Benenox approached me and told me about their liquid vitamin supplement designed for those who struggle with disrupted sleep and low energy, I have to admit I nearly bit their hand off 🤣
As many of you will know, I tend to bang on about sleep a lot on my Instagram account. Slightly less so these days to be fair, as we have fiiiiinally been seeing some real improvements in that department. The twiglets have always been pretty horrendous sleepers – H in particular. And although he is still usually up once or twice a night, and has the odd night of regressing to a flipping newborn, things are generally much better. However, what I noticed recently, is that even though I was getting more hours of unbroken sleep than I had in a long time, I was still feeling really lethargic and sluggish in the mornings.
So when Benenox got in touch, I figured their Overnight Recharge product was probably worth trying – nothing to lose innit 😊👍🏻 I did query how it worked though. I was a little concerned that maybe it made you go into a deeper sleep. If that was the case, I wouldn’t have tried it as I’d have been too worried that I wouldn’t wake up and hear either of the twiglets waking up or calling out in the night. (Basically maybe it would make me sleep like my husband!! 😱😂)
However I was reassured that this isn’t how it works. It simply improves the quality of the sleep you have by maintaining glycogen levels in the brain, which otherwise become depleted during the night. This can in turn improve your alertness and concentration the following day.
I had such a nice surprise when the product came as part of a lovely package of relaxing goodies, including a scented candle, a device that displays calming light on the ceiling and a personalised notebook 😊
Benenox ‘Overnight Recharge’ is a liquid food supplement which is taken just before bedtime. It contains honey, Vitamin B6 and ‘Sustamine’ (a dipeptide which slows down digestion so your liver can store more glycogen). These ingredients are meant to reduce tiredness and fatigue and help you feel more energised and refreshed in the morning.
I’ll be honest, I was a bit sceptical (as I usually am about most things – always a cynic haha 🤣) as to whether this would have any effect on me. I have to say though, I do notice since taking it that I feel more revitalised in the mornings, despite disrupted sleep. My energy levels seem to be higher than before and knowing the ingredients are natural and healthy is great. The blackcurrant flavour is yummy too which is a bonus! I would definitely recommend giving it a go if you struggle with tiredness and low energy 😊 Read more on the Benenox website.
NOTE: I was gifted the product under no obligation. All opinions, as always, are honest and my own 😊✌🏻
