The twiglets have completed their first full term of primary school now and are already nearly halfway through their second. It’s been a big change and a learning curve for all of us. I’ve been reflecting on their first term of school and thought I’d just share some of the things I’ve learned so far.
Hello! I feel like it’s been a little while since I last posted… Or maybe it’s just because the past week has been manic! But anyway I just felt like writing a little life update in case anyone is interested!
Since the twiglets started school, I’ve been feeling a bit… well… lost. It can be such an emotional time – it certainly has been for me! So how do you cope with feeling sad when your children start school?
Helloooo! So the twiglets’ first week of school is already done and dusted! Mornings only, but they’re moving to full days this week. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster so far! (If you follow me on Instagram, you may already know that!) So I thought I’d just write a little update on how it’s going and how they’re settling in.
Hi there! So at the moment we are balls deep in getting ready for school. The twiglets will be starting Reception in September – just a short few weeks! As they’re my first (and last!) to start school, this is all new to me and I’m learning as I go. But I just thought I’d share some of the things I’m doing and buying in case they might be of use to anyone. I’m sure none of it will be revolutionary and will most likely be stuff you’ve read before and/or are doing anyway. But I’ve been enjoying reading people’s posts about this topic so thought I’d just share our little journey too.
