Now that we are well and truly moving out of lockdown, a lot of us are enjoying some days out now. Of course, things are a little different though! So I thought I’d write about our experience of visiting Cliveden National Trust in Maidenhead, with social distancing measures in place. Just in case anyone was thinking of going and wondering how all the measures might affect their day 🙂
This week I’ve totally had enough of lockdown. To be fair, I’m not even sure if we’re really in lockdown anymore, are we? I suppose we’re in a sort of limbo, while the lockdown is gradually being lifted. But anyway, as much as there have been some really lovely things about lockdown, it has been a flipping long time now hasn’t it?!
This week has been much the same as previous weeks for us. I’m still feeling pretty anxious about the easing of lockdown. So, despite the restrictions lifting further, we’ve been staying local and most of the time still staying at home. The only difference was that we did try meeting some of our wider family with social distancing in place.
Now noone has said that lockdown will be properly ending anytime soon. Coronavirus certainly isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future. But it’s clear that as a country we are starting to take steps towards opening everything back up. And I’m finding myself having mixed feelings about it. In fact, I’m actually feeling really anxious about lockdown ending.
Helloooo! I was tagged by Simone from Midlands Traveller to share my Covid-19 lockdown silver linings. I posted before about how on the whole we’ve been quite enjoying lockdown life as a family. But I think there are also wider benefits for society to come from being on lockdown too.
