Since the lockdown rules were relaxed slightly, we haven’t really changed what we’ve been doing all that much. Still staying at home the vast majority of the time and just heading out for the odd local walk. But a couple of times we have tried going a little further afield and travelling by car to go for a walk. And to be honest, both times I’ve just found it really stressful and anxiety-inducing. I wrote a post before about how I’m feeling anxious about lockdown ending. And as lockdown starts to ease, I feel like the thing I’m struggling with the most is going out.
Week 50 squillion of lockdown and it’s been, like most of the others, full of ups and downs. So for our Living Arrows post this week, here are some of our ups and downs of lockdown life 🙂
Now noone has said that lockdown will be properly ending anytime soon. Coronavirus certainly isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future. But it’s clear that as a country we are starting to take steps towards opening everything back up. And I’m finding myself having mixed feelings about it. In fact, I’m actually feeling really anxious about lockdown ending.
Week 5820193483 of lockdown and we are still mostly enjoying ourselves. We have been blessed with glorious weather again over the bank holiday weekend, which really does make such a huge difference. As I mentioned before, everything feels much harder when it’s grey and miserable outside! However, despite this, it is all starting to feel a bit Groundhog Day now, and the constant whinging from the twiglets is starting to get to me a bit!

This week of lockdown has felt a bit tougher than the ones before it. And I think that has been due to one main reason: the change in weather.
