Since the twiglets started school, I’ve been feeling a bit… well… lost. It can be such an emotional time – it certainly has been for me! So how do you cope with feeling sad when your children start school?
Helloooo! So the twiglets’ first week of school is already done and dusted! Mornings only, but they’re moving to full days this week. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster so far! (If you follow me on Instagram, you may already know that!) So I thought I’d just write a little update on how it’s going and how they’re settling in.
Hi there! So at the moment we are balls deep in getting ready for school. The twiglets will be starting Reception in September – just a short few weeks! As they’re my first (and last!) to start school, this is all new to me and I’m learning as I go. But I just thought I’d share some of the things I’m doing and buying in case they might be of use to anyone. I’m sure none of it will be revolutionary and will most likely be stuff you’ve read before and/or are doing anyway. But I’ve been enjoying reading people’s posts about this topic so thought I’d just share our little journey too.
So, at the moment we’re all coping with some pretty big changes and I felt the need to have a little ramble about it all. So enjoy this brain splurge if it even makes any sense! 😂
It’s all beginning to feel very real. We received letters in the post the other day confirming which Reception classes the twiglets are going to be in from September. Separate classes. Our little twins are going to be separated from each other for the first time in their lives. So I thought I’d write about why we are putting our twins in separate classes at school.
