Helloooo! It’s been a bit of a mad old week really. We’ve basically been enjoying the sunshine as much as possible, despite all the scary shiz going on around us!

enjoying the sunshine

This week I’ve been feeling more uneasy and anxious, following the lockdown guidelines being relaxed and the news on schools reopening in June. We’ll make a definite decision about the twiglets going back to school nearer the time. (Although I’m now leaning towards not sending them for a number of reasons.)

Anyway, for the moment I’ve been trying to just stay grounded and focus on the present as much as I can. Basically trying to stay in our little lockdown bubble for as long as possible!

I took this week’s Living Arrows photos when we went for a walk the other day. I braved letting the twigs take their scooters, which I’d been nervous of before in case they didn’t listen or stay away from people, and I couldn’t catch them. But it was absolutely fine and they surprised me by listening really well 🙂

And it was lovely to find a quiet spot and actually sit and relax in the sun for a bit as well. I think H and C were happy for a change of scene, and it was fun messing around in the park with them.

We collected some daisies and dandelions and made some pretty ice cubes when we got home. They had a lot of fun smashing them to pieces the following day haha!

I hope everyone’s had a good week and has been enjoying the sunshine too? I think it’s set to be pretty lovely next week which makes me happy 🙂 As I said before, lockdown is so much easier in nice weather!

Til next time,

Hannah xx

  1. I agree the weather during lockdown does make me smile here in sunny Florida. Love, love, love the first shot on the grass. That brought an even bigger smile. #MMBC

Thank you! I’m generally fine when we’re at home haha! 🙂

  4. We have made the decision about nursery for our youngest. I found making the decision more stressful than the actual decision itself! I am with you I want to stay in out bubble for as long as possible.

It’s such a hard decision isn’t it!! Must be a relief to have decided though – we’re still not 100% sure!

  5. We’ve still not really been anywhere despite the lockdown rules being relaxed a bit – I’m trying to think of somewhere we could go where there won’t be too many people! It’s lovely to see you getting out and enjoying the sunshine though 🙂 #LivingArrows

We’ve only been walking to the local park mainly, but the couple of times we’ve tried to go a bit further have been stressful!
