This rainbow finger paint blossom tree craft activity is sooo simple! So I just thought I’d share, in case anyone was looking for a super easy finger painting activity to do with their little ones. It’s perfect for Spring crafting at home and not too messy either, compared to most painting activities!

How to make a rainbow finger paint tree:

This is not really much of a how to, as this activity is so super easy!!

To start with, I just drew a simple tree trunk and branches using a brown feltip. Then the twiglets were let loose! They just used one finger, doing one colour at a time which minimised the chaos a bit! In between colours, they wiped their finger with a wet wipe or damp cloth.

And it’s literally that simple! You could do the trees any colours you like. Initially I was intending to use different shades of pink, like the beautiful Spring blossom we’ve been seeing out and about recently.

But the twigs insisted on rainbow and actually I think they turned out fab! πŸ™‚ I just mixed up a few extra colours in a paint palette so we had some purple and pink etc. So an extra bit of learning on colour mixing for them!

When they finished the branches, the twigs decided to add some grass and a sun to their paintings. Then I used my fingers to make rainbow stripes on the trunk of the tree too, and they sort of did the same!

So that’s it! I hope you enjoyed this ridiculously easy rainbow finger paint tree craft activity! Do let me know if you try it with your kiddies. I’d love to see your creations! πŸ˜€
