The twiglets are huge fans of animals. And I’m a huge fan of toys which are exciting and develop their imaginations. So I was thrilled when we were sent some playsets and figures from the Schleich Wild Life range. Here’s what we thought of them 🙂

Schleich was founded in 1935 and is one of the biggest toy manufacturers in Germany. They believe that promoting creativity and a rich imagination are the most valuable gifts you can give a child.
Schleich Wild Life
The Wild Life range aims to introduce children to the most fascinating animals from different habitats around the world. So kids can use their imaginations to roam through the savannah on a safari, uncover the secrets of the jungle and rainforest and explore aquatic habitats.
Toys from this range are suitable for children from ages 3-8.
Starter Set – RRP £14.99
The Wild Life starter set has four safari animals – a zebra, a lion, a baby African elephant and a baby chimpanzee. I think the figures are so amazingly detailed and lifelike.
Polar Playground – RRP £15.99
The polar playground set consists of two polar bears, a narwhal and an ice floe. And it is super cute! The twigs loved playing little games with the wobbly ice floe, pretending that the bears were falling off and being caught by the narwhal!
Alpaca Set – RRP £11.99
This set consists of one adult and two young alpacas and a tuft of grass accessory. The alpacas come from the South American Andes, where they are bred for their soft, warm wool. They’re so cute – I love their little facial expressions!
The twiglets have been loving playing with these toys. As the figures look so realistic, they feel a little more grown up compared to other toys, for example bright plastic ones. Also, they’re really robust and durable so I know they will be long-lasting.
