Today (March 23rd 2021) is National Puppy Day! We’re celebrating National Puppy Day with ZURU and their fabulous Rainbocorns Puppycorn Surprise toys 🙂 In this post I’m going to tell you all about these fun new toys and how we got on trying them out.

Who are ZURU?
We love ZURU! They’re a fun, exciting brand who produce a huge range of toys for kids. From action packed Smashers to cuddly and cute Rainbocorns, they have plenty of choice to keep everyone happy.
We’re so excited to be part of ZURU’s Insta-league family campaign for 2021. This means we get the opportunity to test out a variety of their fab toys – lucky twiglets!

What are ZURU Rainbocorns Puppycorn Surprise Toys?
This month, and to celebrate National Puppy Day, we were sent some ZURU Rainbocorns Puppycorn Surprise toys. There are 7 Puppycorns to collect, and it’s a fun surprise for kids as you don’t know which one you have until you open it.
Each Puppycorn has a unique Scratch ‘n’ Reveal heart which shows what your Rainbocorn loves! You can unbox 7 layers of surprises inside, including scratch ‘n’ sniff stickers and new Puppycorn magic colour mix poop!

Which Puppycorns are there to collect?
There are 7 different Puppycorns to collect:
- Missy the Huskycorn
- Trixie the Dachshundcorn
- Posh the Poodlecorn
- Penny the Pugcorn
- Marley the Labradorcorn
- Nala the Dalmatiancorn
- Dotty the Rare Best-in-Show Bulldogcorn
So how did we get on?
The twiglets were really excited to hatch open their eggs. They enjoyed looking at the Collector’s Guide to find out which Surprise Puppycorns they had. We got Trixie the Dachshundcorn, Dotty the Bulldogcorn and Penny the Pugcorn. They all look sooo cute!
It was really fun removing the Scratch ‘n’ Reveal heart from each Puppycorn to see what things they liked. I did have to explain what tacos were haha!
The twigs LOVED the Puppycorn magic colour mix poop! C cracked up laughing when she read the packet and was very excited! It magically changes colour and stretches over 3000% in size. Obviously this was a lot of fun for two 5-year-olds haha! And it really was sooo stretchy!
The mini eggs with the Booboocorns were fun to open too. It was a lovely little extra surprise for the twigs to see which ones they had! And they’re like the cutest things ever 🙂
The Scratch ‘n’ Sniff stickers were cool too, and they smell amazing!
We were also given an extra little gift of a Puppycorn headband, which both the twiglets were big fans of 🙂
All in all, I’d say we are definitely big fans of Puppycorns – the twiglets are totally converted! They’ve had so much fun playing with them and want to collect the rest now!

What is it with kids and poop!? These look great fun, my daughter loves surprise toys like this and it takes me back to my childhood always collecting something and looking for a rare one.

Oh my goodness – it’s a complete cuteness overload. These look so lovely, and what a fab treat for Easter. I can imagine that stretchy poo being a big hit.
