One week of the Easter holidays down, one to go! Still can’t believe how fast the year is flying by. A few weeks ago I was worried I’d struggle to keep the twiglets entertained over the holidays, as we had made zero plans. However somehow we’ve actually ended up getting out and about quite a lot and being pretty busy!
The weather has been a bit crazy! After Easter Sunday being absolutely glorious, it then turned freezing cold. This was a bit annoying really, as we could only meet other people outside. So basically we just all had to freeze our bits off haha!
We’ve had a couple of playdates in friends’ gardens and in the park, which have been lovely. After lockdown, it’s really nice to see the twigs playing with other kids and having fun.
The other half took a weekday off so we spent the day altogether which was fun. By some miracle, I had managed to get my hands on some National Trust tickets for Claremont Landscape Garden. Actually, it wasn’t a miracle – it was staying up til 1.30am and waiting in a website queue!!
Anyway we had a lovely day, so my Living Arrows photos for this week are from then:

Bedtimes have been pretty late since the clocks changed. We really need to get a blackout blind for the twigs’ bedroom! As it’s practically impossible getting them to bed when it’s broad daylight! I think we’re definitely going to have to work on it before they go back to school.
How about you? Have you been getting out and about much over the holidays?
Thanks for reading! Til next time,
Hannah xx

I have had such trouble getting NT tickets recently. Claremont is one of our favourites! x
I love the photo of Cora! I hope you had a lovely 2nd week off? I’m very glad to have lost the polar winds! x
Oh crumbs 1.30 in the morning! Hope you have had a brilliant second week? Its nice the weather is behaving better now, lets hope it stays.
Such lovely pictures! I hope you had better weather this week – it’s been lovely here in the second half of the week. On the blackout blind front – I really recommend Easyblinds. We have one that velcros on around the window. It doesn’t look the prettiest but it does a brilliant job of keeping the room dark 🙂
