Gosh I’ve missed so many weeks of Living Arrows now!! I found it so hard to keep up with any kind of blogging during the summer holidays. It was just a bit tricky with two (pretty intense!) kiddos to keep busy and entertained. But anyway, I’m joining back in this week and will hopefully manage to keep it up now. Our summer holiday was pretty good this year – crazy that it’s over already!

It’s been a shame that the weather hasn’t been great this summer. So many grey, miserable days. I was really hopeful for some more hot paddling pool days but sadly that wasn’t to happen!

We managed to have a pretty good balance between getting out and about for adventures and also some quiet downtime days. I think that was quite important for the twigs, who definitely needed plenty of free time to just chill and do their own thing.

We visited some lovely places, including Chobham Adventure Farm, Wisley, Godstone Farm and West Wittering Beach. Also we went on holiday to Cornwall for five days. It was pretty hard work to be honest as the twigs both struggled being in a different environment. We did have lots of happy moments though and went to some beautiful beaches, including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. Lappa Valley Steam Railway was lots of fun too.

I also turned 37. And now it’s back to school time! I’ve just about got all the uniform ready! I can’t believe the twiglets are going to be in Year 2 – far too grown up for my liking!

Anyway that’s our summer holiday over with! I hope you’ve had a good one 🙂

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx
