So it’s the summer holidays! I can’t believe it really – I don’t know where this year’s gone! Usually we don’t tend to plan the holidays out too much, and this year is no different. One thing I’ve been craving for ages though is the beach. So we started the holidays with a trip to West Wittering 🙂
West Wittering is roughly an hour and a half/two hour drive from us in Surrey. We’ve been before when the twigs were a lot smaller, but not for ages. Due to Covid, you now book a parking spot which works quite well as it gets so busy. At least you know you’re guaranteed a space! Although to be fair, it all seemed a little chaotic when we arrived.
But anyway, it was amazing to be back on a sandy beach again. The twigs loved playing in the sand – we’d actually remembered to bring buckets and spades for once! And we went in the sea quite a few times too, which was lovely. Although the tide ended up going out sooo far, it was miles to the water! The weather was perfect – dry and warm but not too hot.
I didn’t take many photos because we were just enjoying ourselves and I didn’t really think until we were nearly going! But I managed to snap a quick few of the twigs being silly in the sand 🙂

I’d recommend a trip to West Wittering. It’s a lovely beach and even though it gets very busy, it’s pretty easy to keep away from other people!
Hope you’ve all had a great start to the summer hols,
Hannah xx

West Wittering is so lovely, we’re hoping to make a trip at some point in the summer! x
My brother goes to this beach most weekends. We only visited once and it was the windiest day ever lol. Hope your enjoying the holidays so far? X
Ahhh this is one of our favourite beaches and one of our most local ones we are so lucky. Looks like they had a wonderful time and its nice to switch off every now and again and not have to take photos all the time x
