I know it’s incredibly ‘British’ to bang on about the weather, but Christ there’s been a lot of rain hasn’t there?! So many rainy May days!
Isolating
I’m currently having to isolate, which is a complete pain. I guess it’s as good a week as any for it to happen, seeing as it hasn’t stopped raining! At least I’m not missing any glorious sunshine or anything!
Last week I went to work teaching in Reception. At about 11 I was suddenly told to leave the classroom and take a lateral flow test, as there had been a positive case confirmed in the Year 2 class I teach on Mondays! My test was negative, as was everyone else’s. But it meant the whole year group, including all staff who’d been in contact with the child, had to isolate for 10 days.
My isolation period will end on Thursday as I can take it from the last day I had contact with the child. So far I haven’t developed any symptoms or anything. I think it would be unlikely that I would. So the isolation is a pain but needs must! It was a bit of a wake up call though. Even though things are opening up again, this virus is still very much around!
Bluebells
We haven’t done a huge amount this week. But last weekend we did manage a visit to the bluebells at Banstead Woods. We visit there every year and have our annual bluebell photoshoot with the twigs. (Not a professional one, just us chasing them round trying to get them to stay still for two seconds!)
So this week’s Living Arrows photos are of the twigs in the bluebells 🙂

Thanks for reading. Hope you’ve had a good week and hope these rainy May days bugger off soon!
Til next time,
Hannah xx

I just commented but the thing froze and I’m not sure if it went through! Isolating is a right pain, hope it’s going quickly for you. And yep, the weather’s been pants! x
