What with lockdown and retail stores having been closed for a while, more of us than ever are turning to online shopping for Christmas this year. Obviously the giants like Amazon are super convenient and easy, and I’m certainly using them for quite a bit of my Christmas shopping. However, I’m also really looking for ways to support smaller businesses this year. I like to shop small when I can anyway and I’m passionate about supporting independent brands. So I thought I’d share with you some awesome businesses in case you might like to shop small this Christmas π

So here we go, in no particular order – 15 amazing businesses to shop small from this Christmas:
Dotty’s Doodles
Dotty’s Doodles was a relatively recent find for me over on Instagram but I am now a diehard fan! I shared one of their products in my rainbow Christmas decorations guide, but their colourful products would make excellent gifts too.

Colour Their Day
Colour Their Day is another small shop I follow on Instagram who I absolutely LOVE! I mean, if you’re a fan of rainbows, look no further. Andrea makes the most gorgeous colourful prints, mugs, coasters, tote bags, badges and tons more. She’s also just started making themed stationery boxes which would be perfect for gifting!
Little Boo Learning
If you’re after some educational gifts for kids, Little Boo Learning has you covered. They have a range of products that would make lovely stocking fillers, from flashcards to wipe-clean writing mats in lots of different themes.
Pickle London
For fabulous, cosy and colourful sweatshirts, hoodies and tees, Pickle London is definitely the place to go! Their sales also raise funds for Mind Charity which is even more fab. The perfect business to shop small from this Christmas π
Eleanor Bowmer
I love Eleanor Bowmer’s beautiful and clever designs. They make a range of products which would make fab gifts – from prints to tea towels to snoods.

Poppekins
For vibrant and colourful prints, postcards and illustrations, check out Poppekins. They also sell gorgeous melamine trays in loads of different designs.
Kelzo Jewellery
Kelzo Jewellery is run by the lovely blogging couple Kelly and Zoey of Our Transitional Life. They produce gorgeous handmade quirky jewellery. I have some rainbow heart earrings from them and they’re my fave!
Crafted From The Heart By Bridget
Crafted From The Heart By Bridget is a brand new little business set up by a lovely twin mum I know. She started painting during lockdown and ended up creating art using rocks. We own a piece from her (pictured) and it’s so cute – a great memento of this crazy time π

The Bottled Baking Co.
I discovered The Bottled Baking Co. recently, when they kindly sent us one of their fab baking bottles to try. Now I am no baker – it has to be properly simple for me to cope! But these are genius! The bottle contains all the dry ingredients you need to make a cake so you simply add the wet ingredients, mix and bake. Such a simple idea but they look really effective and would make great gifts.
Pandibakes
And if you can’t be a*sed to do your own baking (however easy!) why not order some gorgeous cupcakes? Pandibakes is run by a lovely mum local to me in Surrey and she is so clever and creative! Amy can make beautiful bespoke cupcakes for any occasion – we had some Coca Cola themed ones for the husband’s birthday recently. Her Christmas ones look lovely too!

Organised Chaos With Kids
I’ve mentioned Organised Chaos With Kids playdough kits lots in the past as I think they’re amazing. They’d make absolutely perfect Christmas gifts for children, and they’re eco-friendly and last ages too! Not to mention being beeeeautiful!

Hooked By Liz
If you’re looking for lovely handmade crochet items in all the colours of the rainbow, check out Hooked By Liz. She makes rainbow scarves, pom pom hats, headbands, hanging decorations and more. They’re fantastic quality too.
Abel And The Label
I love Abel and the Label’s colourful products – they are so beautiful. I’ve ordered a gorgeous calendar for next year and I can’t wait to use it! They’d make perfect gifts too.

Autumn’s Canine Creations
For pressies for the special pooch in your life, check out Autumn’s Canine Creations for handmade bandanas specially for dogs! Autumn also makes lovely facemasks and scrunchies too so you can match with your canine chum π

Amelia Johnson Family Photography
We had a lovely photoshoot with Amelia Johnson recently – check out my review if you haven’t already seen it. Amelia is super friendly and brilliant with kids. You can purchase gift vouchers for a photoshoot with her – they’d make the perfect pressie!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Hopefully it may have given you a few ideas of independent businesses to check out if you’re looking to shop small this Christmas!
Thanks for reading. Til next time,
